General Terms and Conditions for Voi Voi Bed & Breakfast

Here you will find the most important information you need to know when booking a stay with us – whether you book directly on our website, by phone, or through a third-party platform such as Booking.com. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are here to help!
1. General
These terms apply to all stays at Voi Voi B&B, regardless of whether the booking is made directly or via a third party. By making a reservation, the guest is deemed to have read, understood, and accepted these terms. These terms govern the relationship between the guest and Voi Voi B&B, including booking, payment, stay, and liability.
2. Booking
A booking becomes binding once confirmed by Voi Voi B&B. The confirmation includes dates, room type, price, and conditions. The guest is responsible for ensuring that all provided information is correct. Any errors must be reported without undue delay.
3. Third-party bookings
For bookings made via third parties (e.g. Booking.com), the terms provided by that platform apply. The stay itself is between the guest and Voi Voi B&B, but payment, cancellation, and modifications are governed by the third party’s terms. Cancellations and changes must generally be made through the same platform used for booking.
4. Prices
All prices are stated in Norwegian kroner (NOK) and include VAT. Voi Voi B&B reserves the right to correct obvious pricing or availability errors and to adjust prices in case of changes in taxes, fees, or circumstances beyond our control.
5. Cancellation and changes
Flexible bookings may be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before arrival. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to post@voi-voi.no. Changes must be made within the applicable deadline and are subject to availability. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged in full. Non-refundable bookings cannot be cancelled or modified.
6. Payment
Payment is made at the time of booking or upon arrival, depending on the booking type. Voi Voi B&B reserves the right to require prepayment or a payment guarantee. Failure to pay may result in cancellation of the booking.
7. Check-in and check-out
Check-in from 15.00. Check-out by 11.00. Late check-out must be agreed in advance and may incur additional charges. Failure to check out on time may result in an additional night’s charge.
8. Breakfast
Breakfast is served between 08.00 and 10.00 unless otherwise agreed.
9. Parking
Unattended parking is available on the property. Parking is at the guest’s own risk, and Voi Voi B&B is not liable for damage or loss.
10. Pets
Pets are not permitted inside Voi Voi.
11. House rules
Guests must show consideration for others. Quiet hours apply between 23.00 and 07.00. Violation of house rules may result in eviction without refund.
12. Damage liability
The guest is responsible for any damage to rooms, furnishings, or property. Costs may be charged to the guest.
13. Smoking
A fee of minimum NOK 3500 will be charged in case of violation.
14. Age requirement
The minimum age to book and stay alone is 18 years. Valid identification may be required.
15. Force majeure
Events beyond our control may result in cancellation or changes without liability.
16. Personal data
Personal data is collected and stored only as necessary to manage bookings and stays, in accordance with applicable laws.
17. Limitation of liability
Voi Voi B&B is not responsible for loss or damage to guests’ belongings.
18. Disputes and governing law
This agreement is governed by Norwegian law. Disputes should be resolved amicably before legal action is taken.
19. Travel insurance
Guests are recommended to have valid travel insurance covering cancellations and unforeseen events.
